Would Love all these

But unfortunately or some may say fortunately I am going to be here when the Posh Yarns Sale opens at 18:00. Have to save my money for Sunday and/or Piece of Beauty’s reopening.

Hot off the needles

The scene of the crime.

Little Arrowhead shawl from Interweave Knits.
Yarn: Hand Maiden Rumple Silk
Needles: Denise 4.5mm

I don’t do stitchmarkers

Good job then that I just happened to have 30+ lying around for this.

Addi Lace Circulars

Who could resist. And Get Knitted didn’t let me down.

Blocked

Found a clear space!

This shows the difference in size between the 2 Forest Canopies I have knit. The first one had 2 extra repeats abnd the latest has 5.

A close up, I think the edging works although my blocking isn’t very even.
May try an arty shot when the washings off the line.

The sun is still shining so here it is, in all its glory.

Finished something

Something I started on Saturday evening and finished last night. Gritting my teeth near the end with over 250 stitches on the needles. I am unable to block it yet as there isn’t an inch of space in this house that’s either clear or clean!

Pattern is of course the infamous Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl.
I did 14 pattern repeats so hopefully it’ll cover a bit of my back as well.

Yarn: Yarn Yard Charity yarn for October with an edging of Pink Goth.

Secret Summer Santa Parcel appears to have been appreciated so I can now sleep easy again, what a worry that was.

Now the stress of joining a Knitalong looms, a lace one at that.

Plodding on

It takes some concentrating so this isn’t often in my bag when travelling. Hopefully it will be finished for Mays quota.

Am also considering joining Dee with a shawl knitalong, my main concern is joining lace…..I only do knots! So any advice would be useful.
